With a career spanning community care, home support and business growth, Andrew Mann brings a resident-focused perspective to his role as Executive Director at Principle Living, helping shape communities designed around independence, connection and changing needs.

Andrew Mann brings extensive experience in community care and home support to his role as Executive Director at Principle Living, where he helps shape the strategic direction and delivery of seniors living communities across the Hunter region and Central Coast.

His career in the sector began with Sue Mann Nursing and Community Care, where he played an instrumental role in the organisation’s growth, helping establish scalable systems while maintaining a strong focus on quality and person-centred care.

In 2017, the Mann Family partnered with Quadrant Private Equity to establish myHomecare. The business went on to become Australia’s largest home care provider before being sold to Australian Unity in 2024.

That experience now informs Andrew’s approach to seniors living. At Principle Living, he has been integral to establishing a resident-focused model known as ‘myRetirement’ that brings together high-quality homes with tailored care, wellbeing and concierge services. This unique service offering by Principle Living allows residents to enjoy living in vibrant and connected communities that are designed to accommodate residents’ changing needs.

“I’ve always believed that the way we best support people should be centred around understanding the individual’s needs and preferences. We look to provide a personalised approach to seniors living” Andrew said.

His experience in care also brings a different perspective to the development of Principle Living’s communities. Rather than viewing retirement living solely through the lens of housing, Andrew’s approach considers the broader experience of residents and how their needs may evolve over time.

Principle Living’s portfolio includes Blueheath at The Bower in Medowie, as well as communities in development including The Hermitage in the Hunter Valley, The Darcy in Rutherford and The Apperley at Newcastle Golf Club.
