There’s something special about a community hub where people can put their unique skills to work, share valuable knowledge and make lasting connections with those around them. At Blueheath at The Bower, the community workshop is one of those places.

Future residents are invited to get a rare insight into what life’s like at Blueheathon Thursday, 8 October from 10am, when the residents will open the doors of one the luxury retirement village’s most unique facilities.

From woodworking and furniture restoration to repairs and personal projects, the workshop gives residents a place to put their skills to use, learn from each other and lend a hand when needed. It’s also a social space, where shared interests have helped neighbours get to know one another and form new friendships.

For those considering a move to Blueheath, it’s also an opportunity to see how community life extends beyond individual homes. The workshop provides a shared space where residents can catch up, collaborate and enjoy a common interest, whether they’re working on a project or simply stopping by for a chat.

Guests willbe able to explore the workshop and hear directly from residents about the projects they’ve taken on, the skills they’ve shared and the friendships that have developed along the way. Plus all guest visitors who RSVP will walk away ith a $25 Bunnings vouchers to help put some of their skills to good use!

There’ll also be a little friendly competition, with a Bocce challenge taking place just outside the workshop roller door. Whether you’ve played before or are picking up a Bocce ball for the first time, it’s another relaxed way to meet residents and enjoy the morning together.

The event will also include time to sit down over morning tea, take a guided tour of the village and display homes, and explore the lifestyle facilities that form part of the established Blueheath community.
