New myRetirement app nurtures connection for Blueheath residents

Blueheath residents will soon have a new, simple way to stay connected with their community, access important information and communicate with village management, with Principle Living set to launch its new myRetirement App later this month.

Designed specifically for connected seniors living, the dedicated digital community platform has been created to make everyday village life simpler while strengthening the connections that make Blueheath such a vibrant community already.

Residents will be able to receive important community updates, browse upcoming activities and events, lodge maintenance requests and even track their progress. They will be able to lodge feedback and enquiries, complete resident surveys, access community guides and directories, and connect with interest groups and social activities within the village. Family members can also be granted access where appropriate, helping loved ones stay informed and involved.

Principle Living Executive Director, Andrew Mann, said the app was about making it easier for residents to engage with village life while maintaining the strong sense of community that already exists at Blueheath.

“Our focus has always been on creating communities where people feel connected, informed and supported, and the myRetirement App is another way we're delivering on that,” Mr Mann said.

The app has been developed through the Pluss Communities platform, delivering practical everyday benefits while supporting the active lifestyle Blueheath residents enjoy.

By making information more accessible and encouraging greater participation in events, groups and activities, the app helps residents stay engaged with the people and experiences that make village life so rewarding.

Mr Mann said the rollout reflected Principle Living's commitment to continually enhancing the resident experience through thoughtful innovation.

“We know that convenience matters, but so does connection,” he said.

“This isn't about replacing face-to-face interactions- it's about giving residents another easy way to stay involved, access information when they need it and enhance community connection. We're excited to introduce it at Blueheath before rolling it out across The Hermitage and future Principle Living communities.”

The myRetirement App is expected to be introduced to Blueheath residents from the end of July.
