Rolling into community life at Blueheath
What started with just a handful of experienced players has grown into Bowled & The Beautiful, now one of Blueheath’s most active and social resident groups.

Blueheath at the Bower recently welcomed a strong turnout of local downsizers, with dozens of visitors taking the opportunity to explore the community and inspect the final homes now under construction.
Held on a sunny Saturday in Medowie, the Open Day gave prospective residents the chance to experience the community firsthand – from walking through the village and viewing homes to chatting withcurrent residents about what life at Blueheath is really like.
For many, it was an opportunity tomove beyond brochures and get a genuine feel for the lifestyle on offer.
Principle Living Operations and Sales Manager David Kelly said the response reflected growing interest from people looking to make a confident move into an established community.
“We had a great response on the day, with a steady flow of people coming through to see the village and all the great amenities we have available,” he said.
“For many visitors, it was about getting a feel for what day-to-day life looks like here.”

“We were delighted to secure a deposit from a local buyer following our Open Day, with several follow‑up tours already booked for this week. It’s now very clear that we are approaching the finish line at Blueheath.”
With only a limited number of homes remaining and the final stage now well advanced, visitors were able to see exactly what is on offer and gain a clearer understanding of timing for their move.
“That certainty is really important, particularly for those who are planning the sale of an existing home o r\tarting the downsizing process,” David said.
The Open Day also gave visitors the chance to meet some of Blueheath’s residents – known affectionately as the“Blueys” - who were on hand to share their experiences and welcome potential new neighbours.
Now nearing completion, Blueheath will ultimately comprise 112 architect-designed homes set within a beautifully landscaped environment that supports connection, wellbeing and independent living.
Residents already enjoy access to a wide range of shared facilities, including a clubhouse with dining and lounge areas, indoor heated pool, gym, bowling green, library, games room, workshop and community gardens.

As the community reaches its final stages, interest remains strong from those looking to join an established, welcoming environment.
“There is definitely a sense of momentum now,” David said. “We’re seeing a lot of enquiry from people who want to be part of a community that’s already up and running, rather than waiting for something in the future.”
With only a handful of homes remaining, the recent Open Day highlighted one of the final opportunities to secure a place at Blueheath and begin the next chapter in a thriving community.
