Blueheath at the Bower opened its doors recently for a special showcase event, giving visitors the chance to experience Medowie’s most welcoming retirement community firsthand.

Visitors were treated to a genuine taste of the good life at Blueheath at the Bower during our recent village showcase event.

The relaxed Friday afternoon gathering was a chance for guests to tour the village, explore display homes and community facilities, and chat with some of the proud residents who already call Blueheath home.

Refreshments were served as guests mingled in the sunshine, taking in the friendly atmosphere that defines life at the village. Some visitors even stayed on to join in the traditional Friday afternoon residents’ happy hour.

Blueheath Operations Manager David Kelly said the event was a great opportunity for people considering a move to discover what made Blueheath unique.

“It was wonderful to get this opportunity to welcome visitors to our community,” he said.

“Events like this give prospective residents the chance to see not just the homes and facilities, but to also understand the community spirit that makes Blueheath so special.”

David said one of the standout moments of the day was seeing how proudly residents shared their experiences with visitors.

“Our residents are our best advocates by far,” he said. “They love showing people around, sharing stories, and explaining what they enjoy most about living here.

“You can’t really imagine the sense of belonging and community that exists here without seeing if for yourself – it’s what makes Blueheath such a special place to live,”
