Blueheath at The Bower has strengthened its retirement living offering through a new partnership with BaptistCare, officially welcoming the provider as the preferred home care partner for the Medowie community. This partnership reflects the growing demand for retirement communities that combine lifestyle-led living with trusted, accessible care and support as residents’ needs evolve.
The collaboration enhances Blueheath’s lifestyle-focused approach by giving residents easier access to trusted care and support services as their needs evolve, helping create a more connected and holistic retirement experience.
To launch the partnership, Blueheath recently hosted an information session at the community, where residents heard directly from BaptistCare representatives about ageing in place, navigating future needs and the range of support services and government funded programs available.
As part of the partnership, BaptistCare plans to establish a regular presence within the community, with a dedicated representative to attend Blueheath regularly and operate from the dedicated care hub. Commencing from 3 June, residents will be able to book an appointment and be supported by a Care Facilitator in navigating for the home care system, including registering with My Aged Care and accessing government funded programs.

Residents will be supported in accessing services including housekeeping, shopping assistance, meal preparation, personal care, clinical nursing and allied health helping to support independence and everyday wellbeing.
Principle Living Operations and Sales Manager David Kelly said the partnership reflected the business’ commitment to supporting residents through every stage of retirement.
“Today’s retirees are looking for more than just a home. They want confidence around their future, connection to their community and access to trusted care and support if and when they need it,” he said.
“Partnering with BaptistCare helps strengthen that experience by making support services more accessible, familiar through regular staff and integrated into everyday life.”
The partnership strengthens Principle Living’s myRetirement offering and further reflects the Mann family’s longstanding commitment to the home care sector and supporting residents to remain living at home.
